Taking a quick break from the annual Omnicom Media Group opening night CES party at the Hyde Bellagio club in Las Vegas, Sean Ryan, director, social and mobile at JCPenney, spoke to Adweek about the continuing evolution of wearable tech toward more fashionable apparel options. Ryan said new wearables—along with improved iBeacon technology and advancements in smart TVs—will make retailers much smarter about how they approach their customers with advertising and marketing.
